MAKING CENTS FOR HOSPICE
With all one and two cent coins now becoming obsolete Mayo Roscommon Hospice are asking you to collect all your coppers and donate them to your local Palliative Care Services. ‘Making Cents for Hospice’ is a new initiative to encourage people to donate their 1c & 2c coins to Mayo Roscommon Hospice. “While these coins aren’t held in much regard by many they would go a long way towards local Palliative care services. We would be so thankful to people who donated these coins to our charity, explained Laurita Blewitt, Fundraising Manager with Mayo Roscommon Hospice. “Most people will already have these in money boxes or collections boxes so we would ask to drop them into our local hospice shops (Ballina, Ballinrobe, Boyle, Castlebar, Castlerea, Claremorris, Roscommon, Swinford and Westport) or our Hospice Office in Knock. Otherwise we can arrange a collection point if this is not feasible.” Do you bit to ‘Make Cents for Hospice’ and round up all your soon-to-be-out-of-date 1c and 2c coins for Mayo Roscommon Hospice.
