The Sunflower is the international emblem for Hospice. Nationally, theIrish Hospice Foundation also uses this emblem as a fundraising toolduring National Sunflower Days, which take place each June. This years Sunflower Days sponosred by Irish Pride will take place on 11th and 12th June 2010. 

This is a very important event for the Hospice Movement throughout theCountry as all funds raised on Sunflower Days go directly to supportthe local Hospice. Local Support Group members and volunteers sellSunflowers on the streets and in shops throughout Mayo and Roscommonduring National Sunflower Days.
