Donations in Lieu of Flowers/In Loving Memory: At the time of a bereavement many families and patients request that a donation be made to the Foundation in lieu of a floral funeral tribute in loving memory.

In this event, when the Foundation receives a donation, a card is sent to the family of the deceased, acknowledging the name of the donor (no amount is specified). The donor receives a letter of acknowledgement together with an official receipt.
Many Funeral Directors also accommodate the Foundation by placing donation boxes in their Funeral Parlours.
