Martina Jennings became CEO of Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation in February 2017, bringing a career that spans the corporate world, fundraising and community service. Under her leadership, the Foundation has built two hospices in Mayo and Roscommon, both delivered on time and under budget, while continuing to fund and develop palliative services in the community.
As she puts it, “we have to honour the past this foundation was built on, but also build it for the future.” That thinking is behind her current focus: the Sunflower Children’s Hospice, Ireland’s first children’s hospice outside Dublin.
