The service enables patients to live with their illness in our communities and hospices with comfort and dignity. Thanks to the support of the people of Mayo and Roscommon, we can continue to provide this service free of charge.
Funding
Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation funds specialist palliative care services for patients and their families living with life-limiting illnesses. All funds received go directly to funding local palliative care services.
The Foundation has launched two Hospice Units in the last three years, one in Mayo and one in Roscommon. Both hospices cost over €15m, all of which came from fundraised income. We will continue to fund services within the Hospices in partnership with the HSE.

Thank you
We are most grateful to you and all who give so generously to the cause of hospice. Rest assured, this vital palliative care service would not exist without them and people like you who support our hospice teams in the work they do for patients and families in their time of need.
