Sunflower Days 2026

A huge thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who gave their time during national Sunflower Days and to everyone who stopped by our collections, donated, shared a kind word or showed their support.

Held on 12th and 13th June, Sunflower Days 2026 brought an extraordinary wave of kindness, generosity, and community spirit across Mayo and Roscommon. We are deeply grateful to everyone who took the time to support Sunflower Days and help make it such a successful event.

Over the two days, volunteers and support groups were out in full force across towns and communities throughout Mayo and Roscommon.

Supporters could choose from a range of Sunflower Days merchandise, including sunflower pins, pens, trolley tokens, and nail files. Every purchase and donation contributed directly to supporting specialist hospice care for patients and families across the region.

These days would not be possible without the fantastic team of volunteers and support groups who gave their time to sit, collect, and engage with the public over the two days. Their commitment, warmth, and dedication are at the heart of Sunflower Days every year, and this year was no exception.

Sunflower Days continues to be an important campaign for raising both vital funds and awareness for hospice services. Every contribution helps ensure that patients and families across Mayo and Roscommon can continue to access our specialist care and support completely free of charge.
