The August 2024 Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation newsletter contains several stories of fundraising and community support.

- Westport Women on Wheels, or Westport WOW, will cycle from Mizen to Malin starting on September 4 to raise funds for the Mayo Roscommon Hospice and Mayo Rape Crisis Centre. The 17 women have been training for months and hope to raise €25,000.

- The newsletter also includes tributes to Annemarie Byrne-Cunningham and Ann Meehan, who both passed away recently. Byrne-Cunningham’s family raised over €13,000 for the hospice in her memory, and Meehan was instrumental in opening the first Mayo Roscommon Hospice charity shop.
