On Sunday, 8th June, the annual Ronan Clarke 5km and 10km Run & Walk took place, once again drawing the community together for a fantastic cause. This amazing event, organised by Killala GAA along with the Clarke family, honors the memory of Ronan Clarke, who bravely battled cancer before his passing in May 2014.

Every year, tremendous effort and dedication goes into making this event a resounding success, and this year was no exception. Congratulations to Enda Clarke, the proud winner of the Ronan Clarke Memorial Cup for this year’s event.

Thank you to the generosity and support of all participants and volunteers, who donated and helped out at the event, which raised an incredible €5,000, which has been donated to the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation. The Foundation is deeply grateful for this generous contribution, which will help provide vital care and support to families in need.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make this event such a meaningful tribute to Ronan’s legacy.
