Sunflower Ambassador Miriam O’Callaghan urges support for local Hospice services

This weekend is a big one for the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation, with our National Sunflower Days taking place on Friday and Saturday, June 7th and 8th.

Across the two counties, our fabulous volunteers will be out in force, and all money raised will go directly back into local services.

Sunflower Days are hugely important fundraisers for  Mayo Roscommon Hospice each year, and every single cent raised locally stays in the county. On Friday and  Saturday, volunteers will be present in shops and on the streets – weather permitting – across both Mayo and Roscommon, and your support would be greatly appreciated.

Whether you’re out for a walk, stopping off for diesel, or doing your grocery shopping, it will be hard to miss our  Sunflower sellers this weekend. As always, there will be lots of lovely sunflower products to choose from, including sunflower seeds, pens, coffee cups and lots more.

Remember, your donation will go directly to your local hospice in Mayo and Roscommon so that we can continue to provide person-centred, holistic, loving care to our patients and their loved ones.

If you’re not around this weekend but would still like to support our Sunflower Days, you can donate online at www.hospice.ie/donate or by calling the office on 094 938 8666.
